Welcome to Nature's Clique!  

Ever since I can remember, I loved to create things.  Much to my mom’s dismay, I didn’t really play with Barbies when I was a young girl; I built Barbie a camper!  My creative inclinations very quickly found their way into drawing, all the way into my college years.  And then my parents gave me a Minolta XG-M SLR camera for Christmas one year. It was as if I had opened Pandora’s Box, or rubbed Aladdin’s lamp!  I had found my passion, or perhaps it had found me.  My camera became the path to places where I found peace, joy, and a stillness in my spirit.  

I feel more at home amidst nature than I do in my own living room!  My heart is filled with awe, mystery, and yes, magic when I am in God's living room with my camera in hand.  The sheer imagination that abounds in the outside world is overwhelming, and touches my soul.  Trying to capture all that nature offers within an image is impossible, like trying to lasso a star.  But one can capture a firefly in a jar, and hold wonder in one's hand for a moment.  It is for those moments that I keep shooting.
